HOW TO JOIN
Connect to a Minecraft server in 3 easy steps
1 Copy the Server IP
Find a server you want to join on the server list. Click the COPY IP button next to the server address. The IP will be copied to your clipboard.
Example server address:
play.example.com(some servers also have a port, like play.example.com:25566)2 Add the Server in Minecraft
- Open Minecraft Java Edition and click Multiplayer from the main menu.
- Click Add Server (or Direct Connect if you just want to try it).
- In the Server Address field, paste the IP you copied.
- Give the server a name in the Server Name field (this is just for your list).
- Click Done.
3 Join and Play!
Select the server from your list and click Join Server. You should connect within a few seconds. If the server has a hub or lobby, follow the in-game instructions to pick a game mode.
Don't forget to vote for the server on its ServerList.cc page — many servers give you free in-game rewards for voting!
Having Trouble?
"Can't resolve hostname"
Double-check the IP address for typos. Make sure you didn't add any extra spaces.
"Connection timed out"
The server might be offline or temporarily full. Check the server's status on its page here. You can also use our Server Status Checker.
"Outdated client" or "Outdated server"
Your Minecraft version doesn't match the server's version. Check which version the server runs (shown on its page) and switch your game to that version in the Minecraft launcher under "Installations."
Java vs Bedrock?
Most servers here are Java Edition. Bedrock servers are tagged with "Bedrock" — use the Bedrock filter on the homepage. Some servers support both (cross-play).
