Live Hytale server player counts

Hytale is a different game, so these totals are a separate measurement and are never added to the Minecraft ones. A Hytale server speaks QUIC over UDP, normally on port 5520, and QUIC alone can only tell you that something is listening — so the counts here come from HyQuery, the status protocol Hytale servers run on that same port. Two versions of it are in the field and both are asked on every sweep.

That also means a Hytale server only appears here if its owner installed a query plugin. There is no built-in status endpoint to fall back on, so a server without one is invisible to every tracker, this one included — which is worth remembering before reading the total below as the size of Hytale.

HyQuery carries no icon, so the icons above weren't measured: they're each network's own logo, taken from its website, and a letter tile where there wasn't one. More on how all of this is measured.
